There is a car meet at The Goat Hertford Heath on the first Sunday of the month, so this weekend.
I have not been since before covid, but am thinking I will pop over to catch up with a few old faces.
It used to be really well attended with a real eclectic mix of both modern and classics.

Worth adding that parking is very haphazard and in the main on the street as the car park is tiny, people arrive from about 11.30am

It's late, and I struggled to parse this.

I was asking myself "What is a Goat Hertford Heath?" Is it a kind of heath called Goat Herford?

But I now realise that there is a car meet at a pub called The Goat in place called Hertford Heath.

No, I'm not going; even though I now understand what it is.

Well, I assumed it was a review of a lady of unfortunate physical appearance and negotiable affections who plies her trade on Hertford Heath. Or of an actual goat.

How wrong we both were.

Your standards are slipping. I think you meant to write "But I now realise that there is a car meet at a pub called The Goat in a place called Hertford Heath."

I'm just policing the police....

Wow, that’s a blast from the past!

Used to regularly attend this in the 80’s when I had a Marcos and lived in Herts. At that time it was organised by Rod Leach, who was a genuine Cobra dealer called “Nostalgia” who lived just a few doors down from the pub. So glad to hear it’s still going 40 years later 97338

I thought that Valentino Rossi was making a public appearance at somewhere low key.
