...I've used a Jobby suction mount for my GoPro. Massively adjustable, smaller and just far, far better than the bloody awful GoPro efforts. Highly recommended...

Do you have a link to this please? I'll probably buy one and never use it, just like the rest of my GoPro stuff!

Here you go, fella.

Mine has been MIA since falling off a canoe on holiday and getting swept out to sea. Along with a GoPro. Turns out even a Jobby doesn't stick to a wet canoe with an uneven surface. I can vouch, though, for its ability to stick to a Maserati at quite exciting speeds.

Might look at that depending on how tomorrows run out over Holme Moss and Snake Pass goes. Its not so much a lack of suction but low-profile and not moving. Looking at that I might be able to screw the GoPro holder directly into the suction cup which would get it up and out of the way nicely. What I've got has been ok so far but I've added and extra battery pack for the windscreen camera and its whether that's going to cause any issues as the weight is off to one side.

It's the easy adjustability of the Jobby that I like. One twist and you can flex in every direction. The multiple joints of the GoPro stuff makes it slow, nasty and cumbersome. Extraordinary, really, given the amazing design of their cameras.

I've stuck my Go Pro mount under the rear view mirror on the windscreen of my car.

That way if it does fall off. I don't lose it.

Morning.

Got to go to the office today, for a late scheduled meeting. Bit of a PITA but there we are.

There will be wine upon my return :D

Have a great day, all

Morning,

I knew there was a reason for using the Ghibli everyday. Left it since Saturday and when I got in yesterday its now blowing hot air out of the drivers side vents regardless of the setting. I've had this happen twice before after it had been left and it resolved itself. Luckily its booked into the dealer this morning so hopefully they can fix it.

Managed to overheat the Spider again as well. Blew the fuse patching the radiator connection. Top tip: don't put a 25A fuse in a 50A circuit. Still having fun with the power hood not opening and only partially closing. So apart for the drive around I'll be trying to get the ECU to recognise that it can close the hood completely.

Have a great day all

another sunny day

Mas was out yesterday for MOT, it passed but i was still nervous.

any hoo... next outing for the MAS will be service next month and looking forward to the 3hr..ish drive. last year or so the car has been perfect and still is :) runs so smooth, no start rattle, good pick up, no heat issues in traffic, tracker still working well and not causing issues. makes me smile just looking at the Mas as I know once i'm on an open road the smile i will get... had the car now for almost 8yrs, its been a ruff journey but no hard feelings she is still fantastic.

have a great day all

Top job, Matty! Well done. You must be right proper chuffed. Have fun at Longcross.

Rude early start today with the police round wanting to check the CCTV after some palaver a few doors down. Now I need to remember how to export video from this excessively complicated CCTV system. I feel that some Nest cams will soon be augmenting it. They look pretty easy to use.

Newton, don't forget your oxygen!

Have a good day, all.
