Cheers chap's luckily my twin brother is back in the UK and his mother is a nurse at Southmead hospital.
Now released on meds and on the sick.
Newton the last one was September 13.
His Metro destroyed and damage done to his Elise motor as the cambelt was broken.

Sorry to read about this, but glad he is ok - I imagine he already has his next car mapped out in his head and will be using his recovery time looking for a donor car and parts.
As has been said already, decent seats and the harness played an important role for sure.

Off for a walk in Ashridge woods for what will become a regular feature in my “do some exercise” promise to myself. Rather than walking aimlessly around we are off to find a tree with American serviceman’s names carved in it back in 1944 -
Last week I tracked down the old WW1 “practice trenches” some of which have been excavated, amazing that they test dug over 7 miles before heading tj the front line.

Well I made it to the tree, nice that these have lasted without someone spoiling it

If you get to go to Betty’s Tearoom in York ask to go downstairs there’s a big mirror with loads of signatures of aircrew from WW2 scratched into it.

Morning all, today Christine and I will be reinstalling the giant net; it will be an all day job by the time we have repaired the surfacing.

Have fun all...

Morning, all. So, that'll be that then. Holidays over, let the games commence.

Good luck, everyone. Let's be careful out there.
