No need to cut the grass at the moment, the sheep did it, but looking forward to getting the little tractor out - maybe Easter weekend.

I would start a lawnmower thread but then Ewan would post pictures of his combine harvester and we would all feel inferior again.

As my garden wasn't a quagmire for the first time in months, I cut mine at the weekend. Well, stuck the mower on a high setting and skimmed the top off. Big improvement.

Morning all. Interesting times ahead with corona virus for both health and business.

Our biggest client has advised me that due to CV their income is down 75%!!! So no further expenditure will be made until we are through it.
There goes my Ferrari.......

The worst thing is that they have laid off 30% of their staff (part timers/zero hours etc etc etc) and I would imagine it is a similar story across the hotel industry.
There's going to be a lot of people out of work and a lot of businesses going bust because of CV (we should be fine. Hopefully).

Onward and upwards!

Congratulations on the job, Commiserations on it being Middlesbrough.
seriously tho if she is ever in need of local advice. Give me a shout.

Cheers Dave, it’s Starbucks, she was going for the Guisborough store but there is scope to transfer once she is up and running. Not a great job but she actually doesn’t need much to make it work up there. She is a tough little cookie and we are proud of her.

Thanks C and Newton.....Yep he seems OK. Seems like I've been in and out of hospitals this week....Liz found a lump in her breast and has been having checks. Went to the hospital Thursday for result and the great news is it's all clear. That was a load off.......Must the say that the consultant was a very young attractive female who examine Liz and at the time I thought in any other scenario this would have been rather erotic.....I didn't share my thoughts with Liz at the time as thought that was the best option.

A very good morning to all.....

Morning folks!
Andy, that does sound like a rollercoaster but great that you're all on the other side of it now. Probably a wise choice to have kept quiet about your wife with a young nurse in uniform.
The doc gave me some mega sleeping tablets to help through the current crazy work stress. I must say that two decent nights' sleep in a row feels amazing! I'm now on holiday for the week so should get to unwind. Unfortunately I was supposed to be skiing in Austria so that's been cancelled and I'll need to find some alternative fun.
The concert in which I'm singing is still going ahead this evening so today should be enjoyable.
HapPea Saturday!
