Morning all, our stores are closed from today so pressure on the digital channel to keep the numbers coming in, that will only last as long as the suppler chain can support it - tough times

Morning all, well back offshore for me until the 1st, who knows what will await on my return, all getting a bit chaotic. Stay safe all.

Morning all and feeling very weak today and might not be doing much at all.
On medication that Ms French got yesterday after calling the Doctor.
A first for me as she got the prescription by email and printed it off along with her document for movement to pick it up from the Pharmacy.
Over 4,000 people fined yesterday for not having paperwork.
Stay safe all.

Get better fast, Phil.

Morning, all. Working today. The 'from home' things seems superfluous.

Later I shall go to the local farm shop for some nice fresh fruit and veg, and then take the cars out to fill 'em up with petrol. The Vantage's fuel light came on on the way back from the Ace, so it probably needs a good thrash and a fill up with something tasty.

Morning all. WFH like most others for the foreseeable.

Two conference calls this morning and then make the most of the outside world whilst we still can!

Cheers mate I know I will be fine as up until Friday night I was fine and had been cutting grass on that day.
Got meds and Ms French doing a sterling job :)
Good man!!...............They come in handy sometimes don't they...........Like topping up your wine and feeding the cat!!;)
After Friday, we shall all be 'Self Isolating' indefinitely so I think there shall be plenty of lawn cutting for me!

Just back from the farm shop and well stocked up on fresh fruit and veg as well as some extremely fresh eggs.

They had a number of tins of stuff which we didn't buy because we don't need tins of stuff. We're trying to moderate our shopping and keep it more or less as usual. It's hard to resist the urge to buy everything, but resist we must.

My local farm shop has started doing home delivery, so I am feeling pretty happy with the shopping situation.

Our local Tesco is offering delivery slots in April.

Meanwhile the Amazon guy today left the package on the door steep, rang the bell and retreated about 15 feet shouting 'for safety, for safety'. Which was very sensible, I thought. My wife's got a helluva bite.

Morning all........Supermarket depots in the area are asking for sh1t loads of pickers etc for 4 weeks. Local Tesco depot wants 100 more colleagues. The Asda I used to run wants 50......Currently trying to get my colleagues into these depots through our agency user so they get work while we don't have any. I have 160 warehouse and drivers and current have work for 15 of them.....Already sent some to Sainsbury, Nisa as these are DHL contracts so easy...Lathwaites next target as they are in undated with orders. Managed to rent 10 sqft of the depet to the prison service and got 15 colleagues picking the parcels for prisoners. This is far more stressful than when we just delivered our own alcohol....Got to be positive and smash this full on.

Get well soon Phil.

Morning Andy and to you all.
I feel on going in the right direction but still have the coughing.
Ms French now not feeling well.
So under the rules here neither of us will be allowed out.
Just take care all.
I feel self isolation is going to be the only way for all to stop the spread.

Good morning everyone,
What I'm astonished at is the length of this panic buying. I thought that once the brain dead idiots have filled their freezers and second freezers that would be it but no. It continues.
Rant over, WFH again, we have daily check ins at work for our sanity sake via teams and our boss tells us to get out for a hour. Speaking with my niece her company still have a draconian attitude of counting pee/*** breaks etc. We're going to have a lot of mental health issues after this.

So if anyone wants to chat, feel free. Pm me if you don't have my number.
