Morning all. Into the office this morning. Even though reception is shut because of the 'Rona'.

Loads to do today. Feels like I've been off for a month!

Part of me actually would look forward too commuting to work but we are on a 5km restriction for any travel deemed non-essential

If I was in my old house I could come to the office and not break any 5km ruling. But I think I'm about 15 miles away now.

Is nice to get out of the house other than to do shopping or go for a walk.

@CatmanV2 - hope all goes ok with your Mum.

I'm feeling rather fed up. Sick of the monotony of this COVID ****. Sick of the fact I can't do anything. I cannot even escape to another country. Just feeling like a i could do with a break (having not had one over Christmas/NYE) or at least a trip to the pub, but obviously all i can do it it at home or go for another walk.

I appreciate that there are some with bigger worries, i get that. But, it really feels like Groundhog Day and I'm getting rather bored with it.

Yeah; in spades; some years I get SAD (Seasonal affective disorder) to a noticeable level, it seem to be in about a two year cycle. Jeanette pointed out to me just before Christmas that I was pretty bad this year; the realisation is actually this is as grim as I've ever been with it. Sleep pattern are screed up, I'm lethargic, weepy, irritable, bl00dy fed up. That is before I start on fat and craving carbs. I think I may take the day off tomorrow and go and blast around Essex in the Mas for no good reason!

After a day off for new year its been back to normal... noting the comments here re ground hog day... Some of our 'how was your day at work dear" have become rather surreal;

"Oh not too bad, only three deaths to follow up, and how was yours?" Inquest put off to October... that will be three years since they died... how are we expected to recall events?

Still its lock down 3.0 now... how many cyclist can I shout "stay at home" to this weekend?..

Good morning all......Well that's a great start to the day. Been on the phone to the bank as my account or card has been hacked and some foreign company named fraudster has started to take my money the thieving tw4t......24 transactions.

Morning, all
@Andyk so sorry to hear that! Hope it's sorted for you

Many calls today, objective setting and so on. All a refreshing change.
To counter that Mrs C and I are now self isolating as Mrs C senior tested positive last night. Oh well.

Have a good one, all

C

Sorry to read that, mate. Some good news for you, and I hope it helps, is that the days are getting appreciably longer. Sure, it might be cold and damp but it's no longer dark by 3.30. A quick swipe left on my weather app tells me that within two weeks the sun will rise 6 minutes earlier than today and set 19 minutes later.

Good morning all from, the exotic east, where it's raining quite determinedly. Another day sat at my desk on calls, reading and e-scrawling over documents and day-dreaming about cars, Any cars, really. I don't care, it'd just be nice to have the chance to use one to go somewhere for a non-essential purpose. Tomorrow I will drive across to Cambridge for the extremely essential purpose of collecting the Vantage from its service, MoT and CarPlay update thing. The forecast says rain, sleet and freezing. Hmph.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that Newton. I would suggest a lamp, a friend had one and it worked. Taking the day off also sounds like a great plan

Morning all, another case of rats deserting a sinking ship and the senior management blaming all the junior managers for not looking after their teams and no we can replace due to head count freeze and can you deliver more work. Heh ho what fun
