Morning all, will see what the day brings but it will not be the one I had planned as I got a bid request from an old client they want priced by lunchtime for a national chain! Could be huge or could ruin me so I need to get it priced right.

Have fun all...

It's normally positive when an old client wants you to quote for work. They rarely do that to just get their "third quote".
Fingers crossed for you Newton.

Morning all. woke up feeling fully refreshed today after getting almost a decent nights sleep.

Had some positive news on a couple of projects over the last 24 hours so we shall see what comes of them.

Half day today so I'm going to get home and get on the bike for a couple of hours and treat Alex to some food poisoning dinner as I'm cooking tonight.
Failing that, there's a chinese just up the road.

Hello everyone!
HapPea born-day for yesterday, Crud.
Andy, I hope your Irondad is recovering well.
Yesterday was a day of horrible news. My best friend's brother took a shotgun to his head and then my opposite neighbour went to permanent sleep.
New day today. Our new contract has arrived to represent some rather cool diagnostic radiology software that's a game-changer in diagnostic capability.
Poets day once we've sorted some solicitor fun.

HapPea Friday! xXx

Wow, that is not good Stevie, my younger daughter's bestie's brother took his own life last year, such a waste and no signs of his mental state to give any indication of it.

It is the most tragic part of the human condition; much as I don't particularly like the individual, Piers Morgan has a very good handle on depression, worth a read.

Good Morning Forum.
Today I pick up a tractor mower purely to save myself some time.
I will probably alternate as I did like the exercise from the push along rotary mower.
No numbers for us yesterday a little concerning.
Stay Safe all.

Morning, apologies not been round much this week. Mental at the garage, everyone getting their cars out for Spring and thus swamped.

Morning, world.

Stevie, you captured all emotions in the last post. Sorry, well done, good luck, and thanks.

Today, an outing by Vantage. I do hope it starts. Been a while since I took the poor thing out for a darn good thrashing.

Morning all, awake by 6.30 so got up so as not to disturb Mrs Scaf. Did think of taking the Strad for an early morning thrash but some girlfriend has blocked me in (she is in our family bubble) so that will have to wait till later.
Gardening and car washing need to get done today.

Good morning everyone, lots to do. Lot of of unpacking and sorting things out. Garage is a mess. Previous owner had the washing machine in the loo upstairs under the gas boiler which only seems to do hot water and heating at the same time.
This place is screaming rewire, replumb then redecorate. It's well lagged though and has PVs. 4kW!

Morning all, just been for a blast around the Romfordring in the Alfa to buy some live fish food so fully awake now. Off to celebrate my eldest boy's 30th hatching day in a socially distanced garden visit! Ironically except the grand children all present will be vaccinated (1st jab) so hopefully light at the end of the tunnel!

Priced the national contract job yesterday and await the outcome; I fell it is going to be positive as they are in chaos with pubs opening at least beer gardens in just a few weeks and they have nothing maintained or inspected in over a year!

Have fun all...
