Good Morning Andy and all of you.
Let's hope the weather comes back for your holiday mate.
Looks like our Cat is about to give birth which will be a new experience for me.
Putting another coat of emulsion on my workshop walls and what a difference it's making.
Can't wait to be working in there properly.
Stay Safe all.

Morning all, got bogged down on site at Horndean yesterday, rebuilding a machine from 2009 that was in a dreadful state of wear. It should have been about 2 hours but ended up taking 5 so I never got to Shepton Mallet. Overnight in Glastonbury which is always lovely. So off to catch up early now then a SM mimi meet with @Safraene of this parish to hand over one or more model aeroplanes as wall hangers. Then an inspection at Westonbirt. Later to Crawley for an emergency repair.

Have fun all…

I hope mine is still there somewhere. Ps. They like a lie in on a Thursday. Did they not tell you? :p
I spoke to Matt last night. He said something about having loads of cars in at the moment but today would be 'doughnut Friday', I assumed he meant that would have sugary snacks mid-morning, but now I'm wondering. Ah, I'm sure your cars will all be fine.

Morning, all. Wet start. Stood by the back door watching the birds. That's a good way to start the day. Bit of daylight. And rain.

Yesterday I did sod all at work because I was knackered. The grass got trimmed and the patio scrubbed, but I couldn't engage my brain in work things. Today I hope to achieve a bit more.

Morning all. One more day until the weekend.

Conference call at 9.30 and then arranging a load for next week.

On a negative note Alex's mum will find out when she is going back for her second brain op this morning. And it looks like it's going to be either the week before Le Mans or the week we're away.
In which case it will be no Le Mans for me :too_sad: as I will have to look after Joseph as Alex and her sister will be doing shuttle runs to Kings in London every day.
Bugg*r!

At the age of 76 I am a guinea pig for Spinraza trial. Yesterday was my first spinal injection which went fine and so far no side effects such as headaches etc. Only 3 more to go and then every 4 months. NHS and NICE won't disclose cost but this is the starting point. Spinraza is among the most expensive drugs in the world.

The 2018 published price of a single dose is around €75,000, or approximately £66,000, however government buyers normally negotiate significant discounts on drugs. Therefore, Spinraza needs to be made available under a government-funded drug programme that would be open to all those with SMA. TreatSMA has campaigned for this to happen and on 15 May 2019 we succeeded.

Kittens…What a lovely thing Phil. Very much a cat person myself. They will be a lot of fun and bags of trouble.

Good morning all. Weather doesn’t look great so not sure what we will do today.

Been a few years since we had a kitten, but they are lovely. Love all our cats :)

So apparently today is day two of isolation. Was meant to be going to dinner in the smoke, so at leas I'm saving some money!

Have a good one, all

No, but one of my management team tested very positive on Thursday after I spent a day in the office with him, including a one hour meeting.

According to the rules, that's 8 people out of my team self isolating.....
