The good morning thread

Morning (well afternoon) - chasing Mrs Scaf to sort a holiday out for early March but she is nervous and using every excuse not to go.
Barbados - high likelihood of rain
Cyprus - not warm enough
Canary Islands - mask wearing outdoor spaces
Dubai- random testing at the airport, mask wearing outside
Turkey - doesn’t trust the health system
Cuba - no direct flights and many resorts not open
Currently looking at Florida ……..
The excuses are endless and weak, but the reality is that Covid has knocked her confidence and she worries about one of us getting ill.
I may blow the holiday budget on upgrading one of the cars instead
Mauritius?

We love Mexico and have been a couple of times, current excuse is around health care, but I am working on it.
I could always go on holiday on my own, barmaid at my local fancies the Caribbean and I fancy her, so you never know :p
FWIW they are offering free accommodation if you test positive.....

No seriously. If you have to test negative to go home they will do free PCR and if you test positive they put you up, free, for the duration.

Granted you have to stay in your room, eat room service (shame!) and they won't give you any booze (can think of about a million ways round that) but ....

I have to say, reports of people testing positive at the end of their stays have been rather rare..... ;)

Thanks,
I wish it was the cost she was worried about.

Yeah, I do get it. But if you don't go for the Imperial Suite as opposed to not going for the base room, you'd have a chunk more to spend on the car ;)

If she it snt going to enjoy and relax if you go overseas, don't bother!
Happy Mrs = Happy Mr
Sad Mrs = Sad Mr

My experience anyway!

Morning.

EnzoMC, it’s been a while glad you are still about.

With the lovely weather and sunsets of late I am itching to drive the Strad…I reallly am.

In to work later to hand Benny his Spyder back after the rats ate it.

Morning, all. Late one today. Spending the day with Mrs C for a change.

Some work on her father's estate but other than that the day is our own.

Have a good one, all

Morning everyone!
Breakfast whilst listening to "The Hot Sardines"... good fun.
Off to the local Natural History Museum later to say hello to some dinosaurs and a dodo. No, I live in Oxford, not round the corner from No. 10.
HapPea Saturday! xXx

It quite hit enough and the last time we went we had two abortive landings ! and you have guessed it, Mrs Scaf is a nervous flyer.
Love flying into Funchal, especially the faces on the nervous passengers as the pilot aborts and goes round again
