I will be in Angleterre during August which will make a change from Nice and St Tropez.
My son informs me that he has entered me into a Motorsport event which will be my first in a Rally Car for 10 years in his MK1 Golf GTi 16 valve.
We're going to do the Lombard Festival at Cheltenham racecourse on the 20th of August.Screenshot_20220526112322.png

A very good morning to all….Last day in work and tomorrow we shall be off to our happy place for a week. Early morning plane from Bristol to Venice Trevino for a week of relaxation, wine, Aperol, great food and Italy. Can’t wait as it’s been 5 years since we have been to Italy so well over due.

A day from for me, along promised trip to Cambridge with MrsScaf, weather looks glorious.
She has already asked if can take the Jag, she does not trust me in the Maserati not to make her car sick of the country roads. As it is “her day” I will oblige after all, I have LeMans in a week or so.

Nice. Shame about the Strad; you couldn't use the fact that Cambridge is **** for parking, Jag far too big, only the Strad makes sense? Regardless, have a fabulous trip. It's always a good day out to Cambridge.

Morning, all.

Morning all, true Poets Day as we have introduced a new policy of start at 8:00 Mon-Thu and finish 13:00 on Friday my team have a 3 week rota so every 3rd week becomes Poets day :)

Nice one. Many many moons ago I was doing shift work in a pregnancy testing kit factory. Used to be on nights, but as opposed to 8 hour shifts, Friday was 6.5 hours for all. Knock on effect was that instead of 10pm on Friday, we started at 7pm and knocked off at 0130 so effectively 4.5 hours early. We could party the **** out of everyone come Saturday night :)

Morning all, slept well but needed it! Inspections in Hatfield today and maybe some spanering later to harvest a crossbar off a swing frame for refurbishment.

About 3-months ago I bought a clutch for Christine's Hyundai i10 and she reported yesterday that the peddle was suddenly much higher; I'm hoping it has enough life in it to make it down south next week so I can change it out for free!

Have fun all...

Hope that it's successfully the right one, and ready for tour de France
Many thanks - so far so good the 04 Coupe screen fitted my 02 Spyder well - Grimaldi provided a brilliant fitter with 40 years experience and Roary's had a night's recovery in the company of some Masers and Ferarris - so can't be bad. This is apparently his 3rd windscreen but given his age/mileage only 3 is supposedly good going........
