Good morning everyone, lie in today. Will be working from home tomorrow but going in to collect bits and accept my new equipment room building. Lots of contractors being laid off, many have been here for 20 years or so. A few projects are being shelved too which is short sighted IMHO, now is the time to get work done. 400 or so flights today compared to the 700, zero through the night. Perfect opportunity.

Morning all!............This is so strange and eerie! Many off the staff are now WFH and the rest of us at the University shall be from Friday, until when we don't know yet. I have never experienced anything like this before, I feel like I am living in a horror/Science Fiction movie.........War of the Worlds springs to mind!!
Stay safe all of you!

Happy Birthday Adam aka Felonious Crud you Young Gun ;)

Thank you, young man. Sprightly as ever!

Sprightly from home today, obvs. Shed loads to do, so in a short while I’d best get off my arras and start doing it. Asia first, then Europe, and I’ll save the joys of the Americas until later on, when they've woken up.

Morning all
Back from my super Caribbean trip on Saturday gone, to return to this madness.
Cruise was fab and the day we got back P&O cancelled all future cruises. We have been incredibly lucky to get away at all!
Back to the house renovation which is going well, kitchen 99% done bathroom/ensuite 99% done
utility only 40%
Green house mended and garden is ongoing but coming along. Quite satisfied with things.
As for the virus - well I was bad (not like me) over Christmas for a week and I self isolated then.
Yes there is a medical problem but the media hype is disgraceful. 10000 people die from flu each year I believe

Happy 60th Adam! You don't look a day over 59!

First day of working from home for me.
We decided that it's going to happen so we might as well get used to it.
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail and all that.

Hello everyone!
Been a bit quiet but I'm at home having been unable to go away skiing at the weekend. Thankfully I should be able to get all the cash back.
This situation does mean I can have more time with my giggling godson. It also means I can use this leave as gardening leave, though not garden leave as I have to go back to work on Monday.
HapPea Wednesday! x
