WFH again today. Lots to do, interestingly some hotels are seeing light at the end of the tunnel it would appear, and have got in contact for us to start doing some bits with them.

Bit of Daddy Day Care as well as Alex is a bit under the weather. Should be interesting....

Morning everyone!

Andy, if you don't get it done by Friday, will you be throwing a nutty and crispy party at your house? You might end up quite large.

Our first decent order came in yesterday. The one before Christmas was just a pass-through to get them some new IT hardware, but this order was for the actual cancer-bashing product we supply.
My godson is 2 1/2 today so he had cake for dinner yesterday. That was genuinely good fun. He's totally the best thing for my mental health during all this lockdown.

HapPea humpy Wednesday!

Morning all, good stuff Andy, more dodging the rain today, over to reading and Cambridge to do a couple of inspections.

also investing in a mesh WiFi for the house as we are fed up of the useless Virgin Media WiFi constantly dropping out. This is a Hub3 and is pitiful, the business router we had before was at least half decent. Going for the Deco TP link X20 or P9. P9 having the 'Powerlink' to kill deadzones.

Have fun all...

Ok so it seems the P9 is now latent and no longer in production! Have ordered the X20 triple set from Currys (only UK stock) it doesn't have the Powerlink but is WiFi 6 so state of the art.

Off to do some work now and earn some dosh to pay for it.

Hello everyone!
Hot pain au chocolat for brekky and I've already emptied my teapot for the morning. Looking forward to godson fun this afternoon.

Regarding the limited company, I found the gov.uk stuff helpful. The main thing for me was around shareholders - two directors so we created 'A' and 'B' shares of equal rights and value and one has 'A' and the other 'B'. This means that we can split the profits between salaries & dividends differently, according to the individual needs of each of us. We also made a few thousand shares instead of 100, just in case there may, one day, be the need to move equity to other people/entities.

HapPea Tuesday! xXx

Another way to share out dividends differently to the equity split is to announce a divided equitably for all shareholders and then a shareholder can waive some or all of his or her dividend.

Any specialists on here for setting up Ltd. Co.???

I know it is not massively complex, just want to get it right from the get go.

It's VERY easy to set up a simple company online at Companies House. I think it costs £9.

Morning all. Off to see a new accountant this morning.

Work has literally gone crazy (but in a good way), and have been advised that some chunky invoices from last year have now been paid! :tomato9:
The only problem, it's not like I can go out and celebrate......
And I'm not sure the tax man would appreciate me spending money owed to him on another Maser.

2 hours to do a 37 miles journey to work this morning. I have never seen so many accidents on a 37 mile journey......6 cars in the hedges on the hard shoulder at different parts of the journey. Multi car pile up on M5 going my way then a bit further down another multi car pill up on the other side. At the back of the queue another vehicle had gone into the back the queue...….The Police had then turned the vehicles around and they were traveling down the motorway the wrong way to the next junction....That is freaky when you are driving the right side of the road.....Stay safe all......
