Morning all. WFH. Already done a few bits, to keep the wolves from the door.
Might have an easy day today and a ride on the bike for good measure, I'm trying to do 7 days on the bounce, 4 down, 3 to go.
Good stuff!

Nothing major mileage wise (91.58) but 5,066ft of climbing is not bad. For me anyway.
Might do a nice flat route today to get the mileage up.
Is this out on the road? Or your Zwift thing?
C
Zwift. Far too icy to be out on the road.
I'm a fair weather cyclist as well. If it's cold, wet or windy it's Zwift in the garage.
Not as enjoyable as being out in the fresh air, but certainly serves a purpose. Especially if you only have an hour to spare.
So, how does it calculate elevation, and further, how does it adjust resistance to make it right? Curious as my exercise bike just (obvs) has resistance and I'm curious as to the mapping to a real world....
C
The trainer increases resistance when you go up hill, and decreases when you go down.
So it actually feels like you are riding an actual course or road.
Cheers, so you've got the smart trainer at a guess? Can't see any other of the options allowing altering resistance.
I guess I was more curious as to how 'accurate' it maps the effort of riding a bike up a real 5066ft vs on the trainer. Just the kind of question I worry about

Had an hour or so free this afternoon. With some of the statsCheers, so you've got the smart trainer at a guess? Can't see any other of the options allowing altering resistance.
