Morning chaps , plodding on slowly but surely with the building works here in Suffolk dawned on me last few weeks and became very evident that I'm not the man I used to be , need to lay off some of the work and sit back and watch others ( difficult for me when I'm used to being so hands on ) have a good one folks, social freedom seems just round the corner

Morning all lovely wet start to the morning and seen my first crash already, the Irish tend not to look when they pull out of junctions which can be a problem when there is a 13 tonne truck coming your way. One more modern Japanese box written of as most of the front end was taken off no injuries other than pride.

Hello everyone!
Hopefully a not-too-arduous morning, but you can never be sure with my business partner involved! Afternoon and evening giggly fun with the godson... can't wait!

Morning chaps. iPhone screen failed so it’s been like my right arm has been severed....I have so much Ticktock to catch up on

Seriously though I proved what a vital part of everyday life depends on these devices.

Luckily it’s being repaired today,£125 fitted which I thought was astonishing value.

Still drowning in cars but still smiling.

Morning, all. Weather not up to much for the next week by the looks of it. Which is a shame. Call and miscellaneous stuff this morning and this afternoon I'd planned on not doing very much. Which, frankly, will be a lot less fun if the sun's not coming out to play.

In other news, we'd decided to get our crappy rattly old wooden windows replaced with plastic ones but are having a crisis of conscience about replacing the very old front sashes. Never mind they look identical (well, the new ones would look better), it somehow feels wrong to be throwing away character and charm. Even if the return is warmth, quiet, and less maintenance.

@Felonious Crud I Love my old wooden windows and wooden shutters here the system works really well and no curtains needed.
I don't know why more Countries don't do the same it works well.
I will have to paint them all at some point as i want them in blue but that's for another day, month or year :)

Shutters are excellent insulators of light, sound and heat. Big fan. But they'd look a bit odd on a stick-n-**** house that dates back to around the time of the English Civil War!
