Morning Andy, morning all.

Well that was a wet boring lockdown weekend....but hopefully the last.

Bring on getting our lives back!

Morning all, first move out of lockdown here today as non-essential retail reopens which for us means our stores will open up. Unfortunately bars and restaurants remain closed, other than takeaway, until early June

Morning all, an office day with Christine having hit EVERY deadline for Whitbread over the last three months to get the pubs open on time Just need to get paid for the work now. As far as house hunting goes; I have got Jeanette seriously looking now so massive step in the right direction. The island was only ever a pipe dream but got her thinking

Have fun all...

Morning, all. Back on the buttons. Need to get out in the air at some point. I'm an outdoor person, not designed for sitting inside on my arris staring at screens all day long. Happily, it pays the bills, but need to get the balance better. With that goal in mind, I've started pushing more meetings to the morning so that from early to mid-pm onwards my diary is clear, at least from most internal calls. Doesn't always work, but it frees up two afternoons a week then things will be better.

Have a good week, all.

I feel so much better now I factor in a 30-60 min outdoor walk / cycle every day, even have the children coming along at weekends and evenings

Morning all. Another day (week) of calls to far flung parts of the globe. Today is Colombia and Chile.

Also today is negotiating my fee for a project which is looking positive.
I can't quite believe people are actually paying me a vast sum of money for not much work. Still. I'm not complaining.
Perhaps I've finally found my calling.

Morning all. Looks like a sensible day to day, which will give me a chance to do some of the work that so desperately needs doing, as opposed to explaining to people what they should be doing on calls.

Valeters came yesterday and did some kind of witchcraft on Mrs C's Giulietta. Absolutely pops in the 30 seconds of sunlight we had before it tossed it down. Still we know the hazing has gone and it's all set up now.

Have a great day, all

C

Morning all, normal back to back day but at least had positive news from the garage builder that the groundwork's team are coming over to review the site this week with plans to break ground in June
