Very sad indeed in all the years I was competing it was rare for someone to lose their life.
Once for me one year doing the Wyedean.
Marshalls are the lifeblood of any Motorsports and do it for the Love of the sport.
Without them none of us that want to compete would be able too.
A very sad loss.

Morning all, saw the sad news from BH yesterday a friend was there with her family - we forget that without marshalls giving up their time for free there would be no racing.

Good morning all. Temperature still rises, but thankfully there's some wind here today, so heat is managable. Two years ago i replaced all the windows at home with energy-saving, and now i can see the very effective result, as AC is rarely needed.

Other way around for me. Can not stand dogs….No, actually it’s not that I can’t stand them as they are OK but a they are a drain on your life. You can’t go away without thinking what should you do with the dog…If you go out you have to get back for the dog…you have to walk them daily even if you don’t want to go out….They smell even if their owners can’t smell them…..But worse of all you have to pick their sh1t up when you do take them out….There is nowt in there that makes me want a dog.

And it would be nice if responsible cat owners collected their pets waste.

I would but our cat always buries his and always in the same place in my own garden in the soul. My kids never sh1t on the pavement to be honest Pete and I never have had to find anywhere to put them if we went on holiday… Oh and never had to take them for a daily walk in the rain…and they never tried to lick me on the face after they licked their arses either…..They may have smelt now and again though but that was soon rectified. Never thought my boys were a drain on my life either…..Nope would never have a dog Pete.

No not for a couple of weeks but that is more of annoyance than drain on my life as I can’t stand football. Wouldn’t really be doing much else Sunday morning. If I’m truthful I do like watching them play as they are my boys.

Terribly sad news. For a marshal to be killed and another injured is truly horrific, the driving standards that led to the crash were appalling.

I finished the second coat of paint in the workshop and boy it's looking good :)
Talking with Ms French about her new job and it turns out one of her customers that she looks after is none other than Maserati.
