OK so decision now made, transport for this years Le Mans will be the Fulvia.

After a few discussions with Brittany Ferries the route is now also confirmed, Tue 11th Portsmouth - Caen overnight and Sun 16th Cherbourg - Poole overnight which will mean we can see the end of the race especially good as we have start / finish line grandstand seats this year.

So hopefully should be able to meet a few of you whilst there.

Agreed. I spent the time I've been avoiding eating anything and feeling like death and dodging the toilets.

Its ok but once you've been once...

I think I went there the first year I went, 7 or 8 years ago... The thing I remember most was the hangover and trying not to **** myself every time I coughed. It appears to be a common theme.

We go there most years. It's a decent way to start the weekend and there's often some interesting metal there. Get there early though and we tend to leave late morning.

Less than 40 days! 39 for those of us who need to leave on the Monday to attend a 24-race the following weekend. :)
