I think we may have done this before, but any of our resident horology experts feel like chipping in as to what this is? I can't find anything like it on line. Apologies the marks are not clear

The case is 9 carat (9/375 mark)
It has a Geneva Key with a 10 inside which indicates Union Suisse pour l’Habillage de la Montre (USH)
Imported to Glasgow (opposed Fs prone mark)
It also carries a 1930 'h' mark from Glasgow

Not so very different from this...

Clue.
What time does it say?
Apologies for the poor lighting.
This is the one I sent to Beards after unwrapping its beautifully presented package.77439

Is that 3:42 or 4:42pm?
Supposed to be 3:42

It’s a reference to the film ‘Battle of Britain‘; when somebody does something bad - landing a Spitfire in the film - you say “you can teach monkeys to do better than that”.

Much earlier in the thread I mentioned Fortis. This is my Fortis Stratoliner just back from being serviced. It dates to the early ‘90s. The Lemania 5100 movement is perfect for lap timing, especially Le Mans, as both the chrono minutes and seconds hands are centre-mounted making them easy to read accurately.

The Lemania 5100 movement is pretty tough and used in a quite a few military watches. This model was evaluated by the Russian Space Agency in the early ‘90s, which led to a modified version being adopted as the official Cosmonauts watch.
