I’m going on Thursday and it sounds like I’ll have to go out and buy an FM radio so that I can listen to whatever is going on at this event. I’ll wait until tomorrow before I do so if anyone going tonight has any feedback, I’d be grateful.

What is this 'fm radio' that people refer too?
" Audio for the show will be broadcast on local FM radio for attendees to tune into. If your car does not have a FM radio please bring a portable radio to listen along with. The FM frequency that the recording will be broadcast on will be 97.7FM. There will also be signage on site with this information. "

I'll have my phone with a wire to act as aeriel.

I've got an fm radio to take, but does anyone know an android app that actually works? They all seem to be 'online' radios not tuner radios

"Next radio" uses your phone's built in FM receiver (if it has one built in)... You need to plug in headphones to make it work as they act as an antenna

I am using this app plus an aux cable to my UE megaboom speaker

Was looking forward to it after a long couple of days with the CAA too and start my leave.
The Times shall hear of my annoyance

Oh dear doesn't sound good at least those going tomorrow know to get there early
Yes if this helps someone that is good! They scanned my ticket and said I can get a guaranteed entry to something the next year of my choice. Maybe top gear tomorrow! But my love for going has diminished haha. Anyway, got a trip in a mates m4 and there's plenty worse ways to spend an afternoon

I had the same problem - arrived about 3.30pm ticker scanned waited in a queue for 30mins or so then told sorry audience at capacity, offered priority for next time, told them to shove it.

This is a really rubbish way of doing things. Getting people to drive, possibly a significant distance, and then turning them away is a ridiculous way to promote the show. Hope it's worthwhile for the ones who do get in.
