Having recently come across another one of these cars , happened to read there latest spec, thye have come on a bit since i last read their sales garb , i know a few years back for what ever reasons JC wouldn't let them test the top gear program and do some lap times for the show, ,Now they post some fantastic claims eg, faster than a Veyron and anything else thats out there at the present , for a fun road and track day car, their certainly not too far out of reach for the average petrolhead.

Anyone owned one or driven one

They are an amazing achievement, blistering performance and i love the sound they make. Never been in one but would love to.

Im tending to be swayed to your way of thinking Adam, reading their website and the many reviews all by respectable journo's and magazines they have blitzed all the very fancy names out there without doubt , a sectional / component built UK car , bought by Kit or supplied factory built has exceeded all expectations and so easy to repair , this is what has me thinking

looks the business for a bit of tracking, looks good, i'm sure there was an Ultima or two at the charity day we did at Castle Coombe, very quick. Speaking of which details to follow of that one guys for those of you who want to go and do some rides again...

Loz, the chap who I bought the CSL off had one...took me for a spin.....fastest thing I have every been in......it's a race car really....great as a fun weekend toy.

That does not look too badly damaged as the body is plastic i think. Post this on an Ultima forum or the Ultima section on Pistonheads, could be a very cheap way into hypercar performance territory.

Front and rear clams are around the £3K mark , no need for painting as they come ready done in the gel coat , but there is some suspension and wheel damage , and the wheels dont look cheap but all depends on the price it goes for

It is quite a recent example, 58 reg and they command serious money http://pistonheads.com/sales/3098348.htm if the price is right Loz, could be bargain, fuel bills will be big though, 7.0L V8, 7 MPG??

Home visiting the parents and despite it being 7pm on a Saturday decided to wander round to the factory.

A very underwhelming building compared with the Triumph factory nearby, but if you know, you know. The UK's Modena.

Turns out that someone there has a GT with suitable plate on it.

Similar to AndyK, we met a guy at Le Mans, in the campsites, with one he was happy to take us out in it, fecking awesome. His was a 7.2 big block and when he hit the loud pedal the thing just launched at the horizon, bugger all comfort just a race car for road use.
