Like it...needs darker wheels with the silver. Low mile car as well. Is it just me ot a re GS prices beginning to stablize between 25 and 30k. It was not long ago that the only cars you saw for 25/27k has 50k up. Yes I know top examples at specialists with ultra low miles are over 30k but there are now a few under 30k and show no sign of going any higher over the last few months.
Really does look nice
Hopefully someone on here knows it...I’ve asked for pics of service book anyway

The cars are getting older, youngest over 10 years, many over 50k miles purely down to age and usage.
They are a very niche type of car too, not on the normal radar like say a Ferrari or a Porsche and why the gap has got wider on prices.
I was looking at a Porsche 928 GTS before buying the Maser, at around 20k for a good one, the same today are being advertised at double or more, but selling at those prices? don't know...

Feels like a good time to buy at around 27k....don't think you will lose money come resale time as long as you keep her well looked after.

The private seller of the silver one looks like he's only had it a month or two and wants what he must have paid retail for it. Was wondering if it's the one sold by Mr Grace and previously with Nuvola and then Quirks?

The silver one at WSSC looks good value and if it is known to Mr Grace and Autoshield could be a good buy. I visited this dealer once and they seemed like decent chaps. I don't understand why but if it was an LE I suspect it would be a chunk more, even though LE "pack" was only £2/3k when new. This car has the important full leather trim option. It was suggested the Luna car being sold privately was a bargain so this one, in a safe colour combo with a warranty and lower owners, must surely be good value.

Has anyone mentioned this BF one (as opposed to the one for sale privately covered earlier in the thread)? Not normally a fan of tech cloth or blue leather but it seems to work well with this paint. Again, not greedy money from a trader if comes out well on a PPI.

Didn’t get an email reply off them regarding the silver GS, trying to get some info on it
Probably doesn’t help being away in a noisy garage with cars revving so can’t phone people
Will report back if I hear anything tho

Has had 4 services the first of which, at 13½K miles, was Lovetts. The other three are non-specialists the last of which was 2 years ago.
Also, "probably" needs a clutch despite ad saying it's been done.

Top marks to that trader then in terms of creating a completely dishonest description.

The clutch reference relates to a Pro Forma invoice for the work. If it had actually been done I wouldn't expect to see this.
Could have been done but would need clarification. As for the trader - a little Googling throws up a few surprising results.

Safrane mentioned a BF GS earlier in the thread. Known to the community as being poorly maintained. Not sure if its the same one though.

The one I know of had just one sevice in the first 4/5 years and was an ex DL car.

Some may recall it was for sale in Reading about four years back and had poor paint repairs on the rear flank.

Understand it was offered to known sponsor for retail after being taken back by DL after the sad demise of the owner...they declined to take it.

Was the previous owner you mentioned the chap from Enfield? Not far from Hertford. Could be the same car. Service history:

1st @ 13,413 on 4/02/08 by DL
2nd @ 21,051 on 5/10/10 by Unknown
3rd @ 31,178 on 17/01/14 by Watters Car & Commercial
4th @ 36,569 on 27/06/16 by Pearce Autos
Clutch Pro Forma by Magic Car Repairs of Hertford.

There are two BF cars floating around at the moment, one with the blue interior,(which I really like,) and a more conservative black and cream. It is the blue interior car which has the patch history and may still have a few issues, I looked into it a couple of years ago. Priced correctly it would be the one I would go for though.

Was this when it was advertised at an agency in Hertford?

The blue tec is the one I know about and the owner was from Malborough.

Watters Car & Commercial are in Marlborough.
Has to be the same one - if not bit of a coincidence.

That’s crazy 4 services in that many years, my Audi A3 worth £600 has an annual oil change!

Regrettably "FSH" in dealer speak rarely means a car has been serviced in accordance with the manufacturers schedule throughout its life. It just means there is evidence (a history) of servicing during its life, at best. In this case I suspect the dealer will state servicing was mileage based (i.e. every 10,000 miles).

I'm no engineer but have been told that fully synthetic oil starts breaking down after two years, irrespective of mileage, so the engine is not properly protected from adverse wear after that point. Happy to be corrected.
