Not gonna get a Strad for under £50k and most of you lot would have panic attacks at the thought of somebody actually putting miles on a car :)

To the OP - Any post 2013 GT will do you proud and even the MC Autoshift is very good as an auto and in Sports manual.

Mine enjoyed being used as an everyday car and IMO was all the better for it.
I beg to differ ;)

Well, has got me thinking - maybe i push the budget to £60k and try and find a high mileage Stradale..

Out of interest, is the exhaust note on the Stradale louder / different vs the standard car? Clearly a different exhaust system but interested to know if this makes any difference to the ‘theater’.

Thanks all
Mine was 57000 miles and 42k :p. A scrapper to some. 60k should get a low miler.

Everyone will have an opinion and the Strad exhaust note is different to the MC shift but I would not necessarily say it’s noticeable.
One thing to note is that in a Strad the valves are only open from idle in Race mode, in Sport mode they only open over 3500rpm.
I quickly got used to driving everywhere in Race mode or over 3500 rpm and then you can be sure of lots of theatre !

Thanks - really good to know.

One more question - Does the exhaust / theatre differ from the auto box vs the MC Shift?

noticed a new Stradale gone up today - HERE sadly in White..

Thanks again for all the help

Many posts on this, unfortunately in true forum style they're hard to search for due to thread drift lol
see below

In order of sound only, standard exhaust, best at the top.

  1. 2009-2012 Granturismo S MC-shift
  2. 2013+ Granturismo Sport MC-Shift
  3. 2013 + Granturismo Sport Auto
  4. 2009 -2012 Granturismo S Auto
  5. 2007-2009 Granturismo Auto

To my ears the Strad definitely has a different tone. Not so classy. It's a little louder, raspier and racier which does add to the theatre. Personally, I don't think it's quite as 'nice' aurally for the above reasons, so would place it at position 2.1 in the above list.

If I was to do the same list for theatre, it would be Strad at number 1 and the rest in the same order as above.

How does the QPV Sport GTS compare?
