I have a photo but no idea how to attach (luddite me - hence blank avatar) - any guidance appreciated.

Loz, my grill is dark grey and has a few chips but this has not revealed chrome underneath; maybe primer so you could still be right.

Nigel,
I always found it best to save a photo on to a pictures file first on your PC, then select that file to attach, this usually works.

Oh I see, it's like a chequer plate grille instead of slats, that's like the rear vent panel under the bumper (on my facelift) which is black, I would like to see that in the flesh I think.

Matt,
Thanks a lot, just trying to figure out if the Facelift 4200 would look better with the black mesh front grill as yours looks to be, or not and another member was interested in the chrome version of the mesh.
As you have seen probably every combination, what are your thoughts..??
Cheers

Yes this is the grill im after, its chrome plated mesh. Eurospares price is e234 i think so i guess thats 300 some US dollars, but they have to get it from italy and their not sure about availability

You could always try the Maserati Dealers in Italy, the state of the Euro you might get one cheap..??

OK I'm open to looking at the GS grille as an improvement, I did see one in a sort of satin chrome and it did not do much for me personally, but I will look out for a black one. Anybody got any pictures of what it's like..??

Here you go

Robert my grill is dark grey and I am a fan as it emphasises the trident. The chrome is dramatic as well but more bling so just depends which you prefer. Either are much nicer than the slats IMHO.

Still think the handiest thing to do is buy the chromed thick mesh off ebay and cut to shape....ok a bit of wrestling, but worth it!

Yea but then mounting becomes an issue and im to unsure of what to do there. Surley theres got to be one somewhere. >>>hodroyd mentions trying a dealer in Italy but i wouldnt know where to begin scince im in the states. Im still considering the one a member has here but i still have the cost of chroming it and im afraid ill have way to much into it,...,guess ill keep looking for now

Mounting? The grill is held in by a few clips and bolts......it takes 20/30 mins to get off..........same to template shape, then cut...then replace into grill frame......
