Warranty Withdrawn

Had a letter from Warranty Direct today saying that they no longer cover the QP V. This is despite having a warranty with them for nearly 4 years and only 1 claim. Tried a few other companies and the only one that seems to cover is Warranty Wise which like for like is over 2k per year. I am now thinking about not having a warranty at all as all the major work including variators, hydraulic lifters has been done. Is there any other company anyone uses ?. Its a 2009 QPS

Not surprised warranty companies tend to drop once cars hit 10 years old, those that offer cover either reduce the level of cover significantly or increase the premium. You can sometimes get extensions if the mileage is low.

Gees, slightly worrying endightment for the QPV.

Wonder if it is due to too many claims or payouts on them or another more innocent reason?

I must be an exception. I've never had a warranty on any of my cars. Thankfully never had a bank breaking bill. It's a bit like pet insurance, don't have that either, had three dogs, four cats, and always just paid what was needed sometimes substantial. Saved a fortune in insurance premiums over the years.
