That is pretty horrific

Have you ever driven a MX5 , I've had 5 of them , there's no car that's so much fun to drive on a summer afternoon for the money you can buy one for now, I've got a 1.8 mk 2 I paid £600 for with a hard top I sold for £250

Simpsons do some nice replicas based on the mx5

Yep, I have driven an MX-5 it was maybe a 99 model year one and yep it was a fun little car but just not for me. I agree if you like them then In their original guise they are a decent proposition .. but that Hurtan is just a horrible looking monstrosity whereas the MX-5 is not.

I agree some of those Simpsons look good, the 3gtz especially, but I can imagine they are pricey for what is a cheap Mazda donor car underneath.

It's even worse from the side! Who does the market research for these? It's like they have taken styling cues from about 1/2 a dozen or so classic 60s cars, and joined them all together like some Frankenstein creation. I wont be in the queue.

I've had an MX5 for a while as a track toy that I drive to and from the track.

Thinking of selling as I cannot find a safe way to install a roll bar, that I won't potentially clout my head with when driving in the road without a helmet.
