I think I might be needing a new battery (gonna be one of those months)

Anyone know off hand if 019 is correct? It's what I'm getting shown, but would like confirmation.

TIA

I fitted a Yuasa 019 last week, the EFB version, and it matched exactly the OE EFB battery in size, had a little higher (allegedl) capacity. Git it from Tayna with Number 27’s YouTube 5% off

Aye, I had to replace mine last week from Halfords (£179) as mine died (2016 model so it was 8 years old and 90% depleted)

One thing that I did do was sign up to their Car Club for £49. The cost for fitting the battery would have been £30, but for £49 I also get an inclusive MoT so figured it was well worth it as I got an immediate 5% discount on my spend (topped the ad blue and replaced the wipers so saved another £7.50 on the fitting of those).

ETA, if you are a member of Costco they have a Bosch for £129.

Well that'll larn me. Not started since Saturday. Popper into town for physio, no issues. Drove to Huntingdon. Spent an hour there. Drove back. Popped into local Tesco for some bits. !5 minutes later: Not a dicky bird. Even my Noco can't get it up and running.

Sooo new thing from Tayna en route. Buggery ********

I think the batteries fitted to our cars don't like low temperatures - the one on my white GTS died overnight last week after I left it outside. We'd been filming in my garage (my mad car project) until late into the evening, but by the time we'd finished, I was so done in I couldn't face clearing enough room to put it back in. Then it snowed. The following morning there was no chance of moving it, so I left it where it was - but when I tried to start it the next day, it wouldn't even recognise the key fobs. Then the boot wouldn't open (less than 5v in what had been a consistently good battery), so I had to jump it for long enough to open the boot. A quick swap over for another battery, and all seems well...

Exactly the same thing happened with my QP6 last week. Last used the car at the weekend, Cold spell for a couple of days, went out to the car and key fob(s) not recognised, had to use the emergency key to get in and open the bonnet. Jump pack wouldn't even light up the screen. Eventually got the boot open to remove the battery. Had it checked, completely dead, battery was only a year old and the correct type. Replaced with a new bosch.
