I was flicking through adverts on the internet what I spotted a Canon 1D iii for £200, bid him £180 and got it , just looking at it today and it still looks new, most pro cameras are battered, it looks so new I thought i'd check the shutter count, I've taken that many pictures in one superbike weekend :D

I guess I am lucky, I have a good home office and at least 2 heavy doors between me and the family... it has taken them almost a year to adjust to the line - "I am working, talk to me later or book a meeting...." but they have got there.. I pity anyone working from home where they have kids around and no dedicated home office.. still I am badly missing owning a car and generally driving.

Don’t get me wrong I have all the comforts of a home office and my grown up kids work in other rooms, I guess I am just a bit stuck in my ways.
Been going to work 4/5 day a week for 40years and love the routine, and then I enjoy coming home again, sad but true.
