All that talk of Squeeze got me rooting around in old Spotify playlists.. currently blasting out a playlist containing Rolling Stones, The Who, T-Rex and rather oddly placed The Specials..... not sure neighbours are enjoying it but last week I had to endure their bland BBQ pop music so unlucky.. enjoy Sympathy For The Devil, one of the finest !

Was listening to The Stones 'Beggars Banquet' earlier today, still sounds as good now as the first time I played it....

Sympathy for the Devil must be in F - cos I can sing it. That's my one key!

I also love 'She's Like a Rainbow' - for me Stones over Beatles any day......
Both very exceptional bands. If you have a Stones leaning try Revolution in the Head by Ian McDonald - a cracking read which to me made it a score draw.

Odd thing is, the press liked to pitch them against each other, painting them to be fierce rivals but in reality Jagger, Richards and Jones were quite close to all four Beatles, Mick and Keith sang backing vocals on 'All You Need Is love', Brian Jones played saxophone on 'You Know My Name' around the same time and Lennon and Macca sang backing vocals on the Stones 'We Love You'. Jagger was a regular visitor to Macca's house in St.John's Wood, just round the corner from Abbey Road studios.....

This is two Kodak prints joined together taken in Macca's living room in early '67, note the rejected 'Pepper' drum skin hanging on the wall....

Indulging my rockier side with the Big Black Delta album.
This has me inspired to go on a driving holiday around Wales...

Bloody ****. That had me seriously spooked. Only when you start looking at the fingers and the hammers on the piano does it become obvious.

Bloody clever though.
