When I were a lad, almost got thrown out of a pub when a mate ordered a snakebite as the barman classed it as a cocktail. He was looking for an excuse as he didn't like the look of him - he had an air of thuggishness, but was a lovely guy.

However in the school pub it was one of the cocktails of shite that you could concoct, along with a napalm and atom bomb which were in order cider, martini and port you could add to your beer on top of the previous additive

Try the Lidle stuff it’s in the same taste vein but better and probably cheaper.

As with any wine, warm it a bit. My favoured method is a saucepan, hot water from the tap and a 15 min soak.

Had this at the weekend. Was cracking.
I’m having to work out what is the best on offer in Aldi and Sainsburys as they’re my local Supermarkets now. This was from Sainsburys.

I just picked up some Graham single Quinta vintage port from Tesco’s down from £28 to £20, straight into the port rack and will come in handy this Xmas
