I was going to get my previous Black Jag XKR wrapped French Racing Blue but ultimately bottled out.
The wrap needs to be applied onto perfect factory paint..... Stone chips and orange peel will be exaggerated when the wrap is applied.
Any areas recently resprayed will probably be damaged when the wrap is removed. Oh and the wrap only lasts a couple of years before it looks shite.
Apart from that all good !

Problem with a wrap, unless you want a matt or satin finish, you can't have that lovely wet polished look.

3k is a bit steep for a wrap... you should be able to get a decent on for around 1500-2k

People also plasti dip their whole cars now... some of them look real good... has to be matt tho i think

Plasti-dip is sh1te- sorry ! Just dont do it...All sorts of innocuous substances will melt the cr4p right out of it and it smears and runs and ..Oh boy ! Totally wrong that they try and sell it as fit for purpose as a car covering IMO !! :yeah:
