That's the theme, but if it runs true to form there will be plenty of other stuff and with the lifting of Covid restrictions I think folk will just be grateful for a local car bash. The September event is for 'fast and exotic' so that should be a good one.

The weather could have been a bit kinder this morning although the big light in the sky did eventually make an appearance. An eclectic mix in attendance, with a very nice GC in amongst the usual field of Porches and Astons in the public car park. Nice to to see the XJR15 even if the eardrums did take a bit of a bashing from it.

Thinking of heading to the next one in September. We are sort of in the area, and have family around there, so it would be shame not to. Anyone else planning on going?

Weather permitting, the September one should be a good one (just right for a Cali outing). I'll probably be in the public car park with the QP VI.

SUPERCARS !
WiltonWakeUp - Sunday 12th September

8am - 11am
The BIG one !!
Celebrating all Supercars.

Is your car horribly impracticable but beautiful? Does it have x2 seats, take up at least 2 parking spaces and hit 200mph….then it’ll fit in perfectly here!
Come and see / display your epic supercar in a stunning setting whilst enjoying a delicious breakfast with friends in our restaurant run by 'Ministry of Food' Hampshire.
Cars will be selected on arrival at marshals discretion on a 'first come' basis. (No pre - booking) There are plenty of display areas once the courtyard is at capacity.

The weather forecast looks promising.

I’m planning to be there in the Cali.

Not sure if that’s exotic enough for the courtyard but will be interesting anyway.

Hoping to pop along in the GTS. Only 10 mins from us so would be lazy not to. Suppose I’ll have to clean it. Gah!

Sad not to meet up with anyone. Bentley ute was wtf fugly imho but the woodwork was impressive. Lots of lovely cars: Daytona, Dino, Testatossa etc. Loved the Daimler Dart and had a chat with the owner. Heard some tw@t moaning that people didn’t appreciate how exclusive his car was! Don’t know what it was, probably the lowered Audi S6 estate

Sorry I missed you Mark. The Bentley reputedly cost £25k for a donor car + £150k for conversion; it wouldn't be my choice either, but it did look to be very well executed.

The gap in the boot looks about right for a coffn. Was this Bentley designed as a convertible hearse?
