Eurospares show the same part numbers for Gransport coupe and 2005 spyder. I suspect any differences would be with things like a built in aerial or heater elements. Eurospares are now showing 3 for sale so a bit of choice but not cheap. Many thanks all for your comments - it's proving quite tricky to work out whether or not a coupe windscreen will fit or not - some says it does and some says it doesn't............
Lhd or Rhd obviously.Any clue what the difference is between US, EU and UK screens?
I have indeed tried DA - he says Coupe should fit Spyder - but Eurospares says 'no'Have you tried David Askew? Remember, I gave you his details at that Blyton Park track day a few year ago? He will know the difference and hopefully have one tucked away in one of his stables
Thanks for that - Mr RR will be phoning them Monday am - and we've just been given some hydrophobic glass cleaner by Revive, so we'd check on that front too (and you're right, Roary avoids salt!!!)Annie have you thought about a Lexan screen?
Rob's checked them too - they don't export (I guess you can understand why) although they will sell within Australia
And I was wondering if anyone had tried fitting a Coupe screen to a Spyder........... - AutoGlass say they can try an order one (how they can do that when no one else can I don't know). It has a £1700 price tag I believe - our insurers will pay upto £500 for a replacementAnnie, I say tell the insurers to fit a 4200 coupe screen, let them show up, if it don’t fit they will take it away again. Ask them to check first before pulling your old one.

Not if your an insect! lolThe higher the speed the faster it clears.
Yes have tried them too!! - Roary's born too late - they don't do vehicles as young as him so Mr RR was told.Might be worth calling Pilkington automotive as someone else suggested. They have a classics division and whilst they only list earlier Massers, I am sure they would sort it. Cost though no doubt.
Roary's an 02 Spyder - parts code is different, but could be worth a try........@RoaryRati in stock but in Netherlands. Get it to asm and take a couple of days to fit maybe.
