Has anyone installed one of these wireless tpms?

The ones where you just replace the valve caps (but not the ones where they corrode themselves to the valve stems) and preferably with an Android App?

Seems to be loads available some cheap, some not and I would rather select something others have experience of

I have seen these, but I have always thought, without knowing, that they are probably quite heavy compared to the normal cap and that I didn’t fancy having that extra weight on the end of a valve spinning at high speed on the wheel. Just my personal view though.

How so compared to the TPMS sensor inside the tyre on 'proper' TPMS?

Only that it is on the end of the tyre valve waggling around rather than fixed to the wheel and allowed for in the balancing.

I have installed "tyredogs".
Truth be told, they look ugly but getting a blow out on a gs wheel usually results in a fecked rim.
I don't usually leave them on when driving around the 'burbs. For highway driving I think they are very good insurance.
