I remember Two Goal Cushion, so much so I panic when Bolton Wanderers or England go 2-0 up.....

And who can forget CSI Ambleside?

Was one of you broken down at the end of the M62 Sunday early evening , saw a GT with the boot lid up and the hazards on , looked like it'd cut out at the lights

Could've been if you were on your way back to the wirral peninsula :D

Thankfully it wasn’t me! Only issue I have had so far is an engine light to do with emissions. Can of fuel additive sorted it. Otherwise running like a dream!!

Welcome. Good aren't they? I grew up in Irby.
Fun West kirby fact - if you floor a Renault Fuego you can get the lefthand side of the car completely airborne off the humps where the side roads tee into that road running alongside the marina/marine lake.

Just a Fuego? Or are you talking from experience.. If so, why were you in a French Porsche?

I’m in West Kirby
small world. Grosvenor Avenue, just up from ashton park, was me, for many a year.

OH, and don't get me started about HMHB, saw them in the Lead Mill in Sheffield 3 years ago. Previous to that, about 1985 in a heavily carpeted pub in Birkenhead just under the tunnel entrance flyover.

Only joined the forum yesterday after meeting a fellow enthusiast, who admired the car, outside the vet’s!!
Welcome and a word of caution. Some of us may give our cars a name. Some of us may endow them with a gender.
Whoever the prankster was, who suggested you take your car to a vets, was taking things a bit far ;)

Agree - taking these cars to a vet is ridiculous. London's Harley Street every time.

Bought my 2010 Granturismo last November. only joined the forum yesterday after meeting a fellow enthusiast, who admired the car, outside the vet’s!! I use it every day and it still makes me smile every time it starts up!!
Sorry for being a bit late to the party, but I’ve just found this thread and realised it was me who you spoke to outside the vet in West Kirby!

So glad you joined the forum, and hope you’re still enjoying that lovely GT (and that your pet is okay).

Can’t believe I managed to miss your post!
