So I took the Spyder out for a blast yesterday (to work) and I don’t exactly know when or where on my journey, but 2/3 of my wind break has disappeared!
I thought about retracing my route but ultimately it was mostly motorway driving, so wherever it broke free it would have been trashed by passing vehicles☹
Looking at the section that remains (passenger roll over loop) it would appear the plastic has “decayed” and is very brittle at the joint, I also found a broken (snapped) retaining strap behind my seat, this maybe the culprit!
Does anyone know of one for sale anywhere? Thanks Miket!

I wish, one HGV later they would be toast by now! And when you look they are actually a poor design!

I left a squeegee on the back of my Dad’s Sierra as a kid. We had to go and find it. Some time later one slightly run over squeegee was returned. He’s still using it now.

Spotted and recovered this morning what is left of my RH and centre sections, not a pretty sight, and after trawling the inter web and asking several potential sources and finding dead ends currentIy, I was just wondering if anyone could advise or even have enough knowledge about the possibility of 3D printing replacement frames for these? Anyone?

Sorry i can't offer anything in the way of help... But I'm astounded you managed to retrace your journey and find these at all. Good luck!

I may have what you need one way or the other. I have a Spyder windbreak in poor condition. The rubber on the back is perished to say the least and there are no rubber straps. I think it came from Abu Dhabi when I got it 2nd hand. My solution was to make a polycarbonate one (see pic) which is now in place permanently. I used the original to make a hardboard pattern which I also still have (yes I'm a bit of a hoarder!).
If you are interested message me your number & I'm happy to discuss.

Thought about making a polycarbonate one myself, yours looks really good!
What thickness Material did you use and is it more effective as it is solid rather than mesh?

Now that looks loads better. Never liked these wind brakes on drift tops as most spoil the lines but that is perfect.
