This bloke is quite well known on YouTube as he rebuilt a crash damaged Bentley Conti GT, drove it to Monaco and back and has now auctioned it off BOTB style with £15 tickets.

Now moved onto this GT that sounds Cat C or D from his description that he picked up for £16.5k in a pretty and very unusual colour. His likely mods will not please the purist As you can see from the Bentley, and he is less than complimentary on Maser build quality, but if his Bentley vids are anything to go by, he is amusing in a “Geezerish” way!

Latest instalment. Personally not a fan of the all black “drug dealer” look, and the Liberty Walk bodykit is hideous IMO, but......

I admire his hands on approach and shows what can be DIY if you are skilled and brave enough. Rust on display when he takes the front end off is a sobering reminder too!

Good to see someone DIY'ing on a Masser!
I'm surprised more people don't split the lights and blacken them out for the more modern look on these cars.
I actually quite like where he's got to with it now, that colour really suits the black trim (not a fan of the roof though) It's a shame he's gonna wrap the rest of the car to probably a hideous colour lol. But I'll wait and see.
LW kit is marmite, but will be good to see one over here.

Part 3 is air suspension kit to allow it to hop up and down in prep for the LW bodykit. Yo, pimp my GT Bro!

Absolute credit to the guy for putting the work and effort in... but in my view, the less this happens in reality, the better. It's nice to own and drive a marque which hasn't had it's copybook blotted with people 'pimping' their rides as they become more affordable to purchase outright (and thus more accessible to people with questionable taste).

I'll grab my coat...

I’ve started watching a few of his vids and actually quite like the guy. He’s a way better presenter than the squeaky over excitable lot and he even does his advertising/product placement properly. The likes of Shmee and the dubwa dubwa fella could learn a bit from him.

Latest episode sees him fitting an X pipe and aftermarket back boxes. Thank god he has not painted it like the R8, but the LW bodykit is coming :-O

He may be watchable when his balls drop and he is less like a five year old... oh and get rid of the freeky rat dog.

It is the ripped jeans that are doing my head in.

I prefer YouTube channels where they actually rebuild and restore cars. This seems to cater more for children/young adults - stick a body kit on it, wrap it, etc.

How about sorting the rusted subframe?

I’ve watched all Iain Tyrells channel. He must be the envy of any person who’s into cars. The best channel on YouTube by far.

Correct, the man has knowledge there is no disputing that. He presents the information is a coherent way if you're not technically savvy.

I was at Swindon station and this girl with ripped jeans was picking up what I assume was her grandfather. He must have been 90 with two walking sticks. After the hellos were over, completely deadpan, he asked her if she needed help with money as she couldn’t afford new clothes. Took her a while to catch on but the rest of us were pissing ourselves.

He’s a lot better than Shmee I’ve just bought another car or the super excitable JWW.

Yiannimize is a good one if you like wrapping. He seems to take pride in his business without the screaming OMG stuff.

Anybody watch ratarossa? Scott seems to just get it

I do prefer the American YouTube channels and find some of the British ones just annoying but I know most brits find it the other way round

Exceptions being the likes of Harry's garage, Tyrell's, back when Chris Harris was making content. Even Matt Watson from Carwow is pretty decent... Guess I don't like the ones who put on an overly excitable try hard persona

looks fun and he's only rescuing a rusty 4.2 that's been smashed. good for him. I'm completely hoping he does de Liberty Walk thing.
shmee is far worse.

Yeah... But is he? I saw a service which was not the full factory list for a major, a wrap, exhaust, body kit... Then he's going to raffle it off on YouTube

Seems more like "tarting up" than rescuing

I don’t think he takes himself or his projects too seriously and he does make genuine effort for his sponsors, getting dressed up on occasion and researching the products.

Tattoos , ripped jeans and his “peace out” sign off are not usually my cup of tea, but he makes me smile and does get stuck in and his hands dirty. The one where he takes the front off to do the headlights shows the shocking corrosion on the metal plates behind the front wheel arch liners so check and treat yours before it’s too late!

Latest instalment is now starting the bodykit. Fitting an OE Stradale rear bumper fair enough, but it goes rapidly downhill from there.

As I’ve said before, I do admire his hands on have a go attitude even if I don’t like what he’s trying to do to this poor GT
