Nikos, paint correction is the cutting and polishing of the paint removing all surface scratches and more importantly, swirl marks.

What a lovely car, congratulations Matt, you deserve it!! Le Mans/Classic Le Mans for it next year?

The interior is just perfect for me with that two-tone effect, just enough red to be sporty, just enough black not to be *too* red!

Is it noticably quicker than the GranSport?

Lewis will be at the classics, might zip down on the Sat and Sun for the 24hr

Compared to the GS? That's a difficult one. The GS is a great car and has more of a Go Kart feel to it, more chuckable if you know what I mean. The GTS is much bigger, wider, heavier, and pulls the same as a GS up till 5k then the torque of the GTS kicks in and it pulls harder. The GTS also feels more planted than the GS. Round a track I just would not like to call it. As we know weight is everything, and the GTS has too much if it, but the ride is years ahead of the GS. The biggest issue with the GS and all the coupes is they don't handle that well on a track, there is too much body roll in the bends. If the GTS performs better in this department the it will be quicker but equally I would not be surprised if the GS is quicker.

Looking good Matt. Practical (yawn) question here...whats the space like versus the GS? Is the seating position better than a GS?

Woody, what you notice is the size of the thing, its mohooosive.

The family, me, the wife and the 2 girls, 12 and 8 went out in it for the first time last evening to diner and the Mother in Laws house. At no point was SPORT engaged, it was an exercise in family transport, to which it passed with flying colours. Its quiet, and I mean deadly quiet. The first thing you notice is the front passenger sits miles away, you have this foot wide centre consul. It feels low, wide and solid. In the rear, the kids had more leg room that in the GS, and it was it was equally claustrophobic as the Coupes, maybe a little better.

Boot space is maybe 20% bigger, but the space is more usable due to the boot opening being bigger.

When you try and park it, this is when you see the true size of it. We parked next to the Mother in Laws Toyota Aygo, I was nose up against the fence, she was 3 feet from it. I recon the @rse of the GTS stuck out about 50% further than the Aygo.

Thanks for that Matt, all interesting stuff. Surprised that the GT-S can be civilised too, particularly the sound.

Having not yet had the pleasure of meeting you, I dont know if you're compact or a big lad - how's the driving position? I'm about at the threashold of a GS (IMO) size wise, much bigger and I think it would start to get a bit uncomfortable. The GT's look like they're roomier with better seat/steering adjustments. Is that a fair observation?

5'10" - 5'11" 14 stone, so need to loose a stone!...buy hey, don't we all.

There is loads of room inside, if you are used to a GS, the GTS is much bigger inside, or gives the impression of it.

Civilised, it is, until you press the SPORT button, then it turns into a snorting, spitting mongrel!

If you have heard a 4200 with Larini back boxes and club centre section, its about that loud.....just a bit quieter than Loz/SimonM's as they have the de cat pipes too.

OK, that sounds promising! I the GS, for my shape, would benefit from another couple of inches of headroom. Its not uncomfortable, but I could wear a lid with comfort if I did a track day. I had though the GTS would be more roomy and it certainly sounds that way!

I didnt need much convincing, but thats it....the GTS is favourite as next. Only took me about 5 years to buy a GS, so I should get cracking!
