The Beauty Shots

Had a real nice day today, just me and the car so set to work getting her up to scratch. She was lightly cut (swirls) and had 2 coats of Harleys last weekend, today was just wash and buff. The Alcantar seat inserts were not what I wanted and had priced up a new leather hyde and had my coach trimmer primed to change them. Then I saw it and fell in love with it. It does not photograph that well, but in the flesh it look really good and makes the car IMHO.

For anyone not sure if the GTS is for you, let me tell you, it is a fabulous car. The ride, composure and that planted feeling just make the car feel so good. Coupled with that engine and the switchable exhaust that can be both naughty and sedate it makes for the perfect blend.

Jay from www.gleamingkleen.co.uk is booked to do a full paint correction on her, so I will have no swirls and I intend to keep it that way, investing in a snow foam lance and 2 grit guard buckets and a leaf blower, so I will have minimal contact with the paint.

Glad you're enjoying it. Have you done some full throttle gear changes yet? Don't be afraid to go down through the gears under braking either, that's when you get some of the best noises! Change down into 1st around 20mph and you'll get gun shots from the exhaust

Yes Dan have found the power band. Was behind a Scenic with a hay lorry in front. The hay lorry pulled over and invited the Scenic to over take but the Scenic did not so I dropped to second and floored it. It was like engaging hyperdrive on the Millenium Falcon - Epic

Give me a shout when you get the car back and we can meet up, how about we do Sunday lunch, then whilst the girlies are talking handbags, we can go have a play on the M27?

Adam, I always try and take my shots on bright days with the sun heading down, gives a good warmth to the shots.

I am no expert but lighting is everything with photography.

It's a Lumix, just using the IA automatic everything function.

Lumix is a good camera, i used to have a Lumix before i got a Canon DSLR.

Hi Matt. Great pictures and gongrats once again! I have never noticed that the GT S has different side skirts than the GT. Great! What do you mean with 'paint correction'?Does it have to do with polishing or with scratch removing?

It removes the blemishes off the paint.....

By polishing i think......
