I saw one over at the Nurburgring a few years back. Nice to see one being used in anger and it served to rekindle the lust. It hasn't helped that there were several at Brooklands last week either. Speaking of Brooklands, I only saw one Fiat 127 (my first two cars) - who'd have thought something so humble would be outnumbered by Italian exotica?
Back on topic (again) there is also another car that I would buy in an instant, but you'll laugh - If I ever see an Austin A40 Sport (yes really) I'll find a way to buy it. To explain, it's a childhood thing. Many years ago my father had an A40 Somerset which came with a hardback owners manual complete with sketches of other models in the range. In there was a drawing on the A40 Sport. I've never seen one in the flesh and probably never will, but it was the drawing of that car which turned an impressionable 6/7 year old into a petrolhead.
