Is that at the pub or just the Ace, either way I'll be there. I can still taste the last burger I had there with Elliot 2 years ago...

It was very quick but the brakes were a bit prone to fade. I'll dig out some old pics of it. 3.0 CSL with all the stripes and wheel arches. WXW tyres that did well if I got 5k from the rears. No matter how much the suspension was tweaked the squat on take off ripped them to bits.
Sold it in part ex for a 633 CS when they came out in 79 and the brakes on that were even worse. Wrote it off on the M6. 15 car pile up........they were all nicely stopped behind each other til I arrived. At least the kids got to ride in one of the first air ambulances.
The chap who bought the CSL Bat over revved it at Thruxton and dropped the valves which saw the last of that engine.

Had the front bumper and cills covered in protective film. Amazing stuff, very shiney and invisible. 750 plus vat as opposed to quite a bit more for a spray job in 3 years.

Done 600 miles already, engine feels very tight, got 13.5 mpg from the first tank full but all around town or in heavy traffic so not too bad.
Off to Modena tomorrow evening via Berschetgaden, Cortina and Padova. Should be nicley run in by the time I get to the smooth tarmac

All beautifully polished up and looking a picture, very pleased.

Looking very wonderful, Barry. Have a good trip and keep us updated on how you and my next car are getting on. Try and look after it for me, won't you?

Just stunning....The colour really suits the shape....This has to be my favourite modern Ferrari.

Barry - what did you coat the front with? There are one or two which claim to be self-healing (Topaz uses it, I think) and I'm interested to know what you went for.

Drove past Dick Lovett yesterday and they had a white one outside...Looked good but no where near as lovely as your colour.

Mine is the self healing type but apparently it is a new version only just come out. Meridien automatically do all their demos straight away now as they think it is so good. Front end takes 4 hours and done at their showroom in Lyndhurst. Talk to Nigel down there for price but the GT and QP should be same sort of money.

Thanks Barry. I need to get my stone-chips and road rash sorted first but once that's done I'll go for a wrap to keep it nice.
