Do we have to wear helmets?
It's a little iffy as we are going on holiday the next day, so she may say NO!

Quite - given the significant excess, and the relatively low risk, it's probably not worth it for most people.

At 9am when the track opens, the punters tend to be pretty thin on the ground. Plenty of opportunity to slip in a lap with someone who has been before.

I have been having an issue with my ABS and MSP lights coming on and thought it was a wheel bearing. Sadly it looks like it might be the dreaded faulty diode or the bridge CAN. The unfortunate side effect is a 5500 rpm rev limit from the ECU.
If it can't be fixed (there is still a chance) I might have to do slow laps or turn up in something more mundane and spectate.
I'll keep you posted...
