Morning all, foul weather is changing plans for the day.

Things are getting easier as outstanding invoices are coming in at last. Agreed with a friend to start a new business together yesterday, manufacturing and maintenance based which should be fun I got the first order yesterday and a promise of a much bigger second one so off to a good start.

Have fun all...

Morning all. Office bound again today, apart from a meeting with the vicar at lunch to set our wedding date for next year.

Given the depressing weather today I just griddled myself a 'manwich' = delicious

Bacon, melted chedder, mushrooms and eggs, that has improved the outlook...

I have a mission today to buy a marquee for the baby's baptism party on Sunday. I can fit a 6 x 10m on the patio and down the garden to the big tree but I can only get a 5 x 10m in time locally or a drive to Suffolk for the bigger one. Decisions to be made as they are not cheap and it is a bit of an investment. I've already put my wheelchair ramp back but need to make another to get son's M-I-L down to the lawn so a busy day on Saturday for me but at least once the marquee is up I can work in the dry... And then there is the hall carpet to change...

Just been to collect a 5m x 10m marquee that will fit nicely against the back of the house and suit about 80 standing.... we have about 130 coming (my goodness she does have a big [catholic] family.....)!

Well done, Mark.

Hope all's well in SM-land. I feel compelled to share a couple of pictures of the perilous driveway from the main road down to where we're staying on Lake Como. Frankly, it's ******* terrifying in a GTS.
