Nah let them stew a bit ;)

Oh blimey, come on! It's clearly your question!

The man from Porlock was cited by Samuel Taylor Colerdige as his reason for not finishing the poem Kublai Khan. The story is that he woke from an opium induced dream with the full 200-300 lines of the poem in his head. Got the first 57 lines down on paper, when the man from Porlock knocked on the door, and distracted him for an hour....
....by which time he'd forgotten the rest.

Thomas Hobson. He was a stable owner who offered clients the choice of taking the horse nearest the door or none at all.
In other words, literally means "take it or leave it"

He was the owner of a brick company, during the Napoloenic Wars when Britain built its sea forts he bought most of the brick producing companies and yards.
Therefore as all the forts where largely brick they had to be bought from him
Hence the saying Hobson's Choice

Meaning No choice really

As this is a second request, here goes ( but I don't know how to start it as a new thread)

"If the Gransport is a Modern Classic, where will prices be in three years time?"

Don't think this is in the spirit of the thread - or am I missing something?
Anyhow I will say they will have dropped because we should be out of European Union by then and Jeremy Corbin will have been deported for inciting Labour unrest
