Ah, the late lamentable Lemmy...

Next question with bonus points for the next two.

How many US Presidential terms have been served including Obama's second.

Bonus questions, how many presidents have there been and why is this more than people have been president?

44 if i recall correctly and it was Cleveland that had two terms not consececutive. So Obama is actually the 43rd president.

I should read all the question. 56 ish terms in total. FDR served 4 terms as the limit of two terms was not in place at the time.

Correct on the Grover Cleveland being counted as 2 presidents, therefore there has been 44 presidents but only 43 people. 56 for the main question is very close...

Im guessing i had the number as 56 in my head for some reason so if that was before Obama took office then it would be 58 now. Im clutching at straws ! :)

Correct 58, Hillary Clinton's will be the 59th term of office and the 45th president... unless the United States tries to out dumb us.

Ive had a few goes recently so i shall take the opportunity for a fastest finger first round.

Who was the only president to serve more than two terms ?

If memory serves he died during his last term. Lets see who has been paying attention :)

:) correct. The two term limit was an unwritten agreement up until the end of FDR's terms. The 22nd amendment was then put in place and two terms became the maximum.

Hope your car is sorted out for you soon MrMicks.

Your turn in the hot seat. :)

Sorry guys, but I'm going to have to skip setting the next question. I'm snowed under today and it wouldn't be fair to have a question set that I won't be able to check the answers for. If someone would like to step in as QM that would be great.
