With Sparticarse, Dan and Matt, it's unlikely to be a quiet sherbet. However, I'll be having a quiet bevy in Portsmouth.
It'll be an early one for me on the Monday. I'll have done 450 miles or so to get to Portsmouth. I vote for the Newcastle-Amsterdam route next year, although some may get sidetracked in the Dam.
Harwich is a good option and we all meet in Dam for a night....then travel to France....excellent...is 1 night in Dam enough? nah
If we went to Amsterdam before Le Mans, how many would actually make it to Le Mans?
Amsterdam is pretty mundane now in lots of ways. It even closes fairly early. But with some excellent restaurants and world-class cultural possibilities - the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum are inspired and breath-taking - I actually think it's the discerning gentleman traveler's way-point of choice. Not only that, you can get as ****** as Benny's wheelnuts for a lot less money than a new set from Sprogs, so it's pretty cost-efficient, too
What's not to like??
What's not to like??
Eh, yeh, whatever Adam !! I was there about a month ago and the first night we got back to the hotel at 8am. Didn't seem to be too difficult to find an establishment that had no concept of closing times !! It is the worst place to drive a car into though. Tinder Boy and I drove my Gransport up a pavement when looking for a car park on the way back from the Modena trip. I swear it looked exactly like a road.....except for all the chained up bicycles...and the scooters !!
Museums? ive been 9 times and i never knew they had museums!!
