@CatmanV2 totally agree weighing does not work for the majority of people it's often a good way to spiral and lose motivation often because you have a bit of water retention. Taking a photo of yourself is the best way to compare progress.
I have been training with my PT for 18 months now and as mentioned before feel in the best physical health of my entire life - when I am not broken from the gym that is - you have to put in the hard work not just turn up.
I have been tasked to build up my cardio as it is holding me back occasionally in sessions when I am bouncing off my max heart rate while doing walking lunges between leg press. Also it would be nice to shift the last of the stubborn fat around my back and chest.
I dusted off my cross trainer and used it for the first time in 14 months, managed 20 minutes 6km max heart rate 192 average 165. That's 1km more than I used to be able to do in that time and my max heart rate has gone up from 185... Not bad considering all I have been doing at the gym is HIT and weight training.
