Good morning everyone, no Lego here. Another successful cousin visit yesterday in Brighton and boy was it hot. Think the Aircon in the Suzuki is failing, which is ok as I give it back soon... #ragged!

Hello everyone!

We have a decorator in to neaten up the ceilings of a few rooms ready for marketing the house. They haven't been touched since many years before Skye bought the house 8 years ago so we're going for it as a quick win to help with the selling when that comes round. My place in Oxford should be moving towards exchange in the next couple of weeks maybe. That would be ideal.

Bets are on as to whether my place in Oxford exchanges first, or whether my car comes back from France first!

I'll be heading off to Manchester this afternoon for a few nights. I always enjoy being up there.

HapPea Monday!

I fear your car may take a while MrPea. The 3 casualties from VEOB took 10 weeks to surface. However, not sure what the house market will be doing with interest rates going up too. Hopefully your buyers have a locked in mortgage rate.

House - yes, the buyer has the mortgage fully approved, so that's fine. Solicitors and estate agent are suggesting exchange can be next week.
Car - The recovery had "confirmed" to me it'll be 15-20 business days from last Monday.

Drum roll for who wins, as we all expect both to slip!

Few more jobs today. Up on the roof to paint some metal window bars (where I keep the wife)
Hang a TV on the terrace outside, for al fresco F1 and other sports watching.
Have a good one all.

Morning everyone from Espalion in the Averyon and boy what a drive the last couple of hours was last night.
Bringing the 500 Twinair was a good decision in the end.
A day of exploring for us.
Have a good day all.

Good morning everyone, returning my 90 year old mum back to the centre of the universe that is Manchester. So going to don my cargo shorts, no baseball cap, and take the tacky boy racer mobile...
