Failing that can anyone point me in the direction of the link?
Thanks
Hi
Have a 4200 and have noticed a high pitch whininig noise coming from the engine bay get louder over the past few months.
I had the auxilary belt changed a year ago but the pulleys weren't changed however with the engine running even at idle, I still get this high pitched whining noise...

Hi - not long had 43.5K service. used ot have the dreaded Spigot bearing squeal but seems clutch was adjusted at service to reduce this. clutch approximately 69% worn but we all know how unreliable the readings can be.
Drove her last sat and noticed the car had difficulty dropping from 3rd to...
Autofficina said they changed the relay and pump but i will need to check the car in the morning to see what part number they relay is. They initially used a second hand pump which didn't work so i got them to source the alfa pump. Has been fine since, apart from the above mentioned issue(s)...
yes - pretty sure it's the pump making the same whirring noise it does when you first unlock the car. definitely not the wing mirrors though. Pressure Sensor could be playing up indeed. i notice selecting reverse takes a bit more time than i would like. if i start from cold i have to wait a few...
Hi there,
Since having a new pump put in a few months back I have noticed a couple of times that once i park up, turn off and lock the car the pump starts whirring. Its as if its repressurising the system. Never used to do this so I'm not sure if its normal or not. Its only happened twice...

Have a 4200, and noticed the rubber seal around rear screen is lifting up. Im assuming it can be glued back on to rear screen but any reccomendations as to what adhesive is best to do this?

When i had my car at Autofficina a couple of weeks ago to get F1 pump sorted they actually said to me it's not worth me having the mileage service for my next service as i don't do enough miles (less than 3K per year). They said it's a waste of money but if i wanted it they would gladly accept...
Guys - when the AA man came to look at the car before towing it, the bleeding thing started!!! he didn't have maserati error codes list on him but he did have an alfa one.(bear with me on this) my misses told him the error light that came on and funnily enough for selespeed alfa's this warning...
Arrrrgghhhh..........so annoyed. she broke down on me twice over the weekend with the gearbox light illuminating again. Only upside was that the 2nd time it happened, it was literally when i tried to select reverse to park outside my front door last night. another trip back to Autofficina it is...
Hi Ludwig - the alfa pump.....relay was fried so that was changed. that seemed to be why the pump burnt out. typical story really. sooooo glad i've got her back now. hope you get yours sorted quickly
in the region of about £550 (fitting and parts for pump/relay)...i got some extra bits sorted whilst it was in there so final bill is more unfortunately
Just to update you all - it was the pump....Relay was fried and another fuse apparently. I'm going to pick her up a bit later so luckily not too much damage on the wallet front! Again - thanks all for your responses!
