My mechanic told me he replaced the solenoid. Can anyone tell me where I can get the one-way valves for the timing variator to stop the oil from going back from ??

I changed the solenoid but still rattles on startup but then unplugged nothing. Is it doing harm to the motor with the timing variator solenoid unplugged?

thank you, With the right-hand solenoid unplugged it runs fine and drives fine. does this cause damage if it did i would have thought it wouldn't run properly. or rattled or noisy i didn't expect it to run like normal

hi, I'm new to the forum and have a 2007 Maserati Quattroporte Sports GT Automatic with wet sump and 84,000kms on the clock. It has a rattle on startup, so I got new timing chain, both timing variators and solenoids have been replaced but still have the rattle on the righthand side on startup...

i have a 2007 Maserati Quattroporte sports GT Automatic with wet sump. i have replaced both camshaft variators timing chain and solenoids but still have a rattling sound at start up but if i disconnect the right-hand side camshaft variator sensor then runs perfectly Im lost ??
