James, Re the discrepancy in passenger to driver's side, I would imagine this is an allowance for the driver's weight - as has been suggested. Are you measuring the height/weight with you sat in the car? Weighting of the car is usually calculated with the driver in the car so this may explain...

Usually the 'R' tyre is a more focused tyre, therefore it will have a slightly stiffer construction and a more focused operating temperature. Basically, your all round tyre will cope well with a wide range of temperatures. The more focused you go the narrower your optimum temperature range...

A complete shot in the dark here but when I first had my car there was a niggling noise from that area which turned out to be the brake air duct. Was riveted back in tight and problem sorted. Worth a look if not already ruled out. Best of luck. R

I don't disagree Dave, plenty of more suited and faster cars to track but it's a different challenge. Whatever you take it pays to get your pressures optimised regardless. R

May be a bit late to this but for future reference; It isn't really a case of suggesting x psi as too many factors come into it I'm afraid. If you are going to take the car on track ideally you'd be best placed getting a spare set of wheels with track focused tyres. If this isn't an option I'd...
